World Rummy Championship (WRC) is our first-ever INTERNATIONAL LIVE RUMMY event that will be held in Sochi, Russia. During the WRC Finale, finalists will be staying in a luxurious hotel - the Mariott from 27th-30th April 2020.

You can enter the World Rummy Championship Grand Finale DIRECTLY, by purchasing the Royal Entry ticket. On complete payment of the Royal Entry fee, you will get your Royal Entry ticket to the WRC Grand Finale - Sochi, Russia.

Q. How do I enter the World Rummy Championship 2020?
It's easy! There are two ways to enter the World Rummy Championship 2020:

Q. Is there a cap on the number of times I can play a qualifier?
No, there is no limit. You can play as many WRC qualifiers as you want. WRC qualifiers go LIVE on 17th Feb.

Q. Are tickets earned from qualifiers transferrable?
No. The tickets earned from qualifiers are non-transferable.

Q. Is the Prize Pool for WRC Grand Finale guaranteed?
Yes! r 1.25 Crore is the guaranteed prize pool for the WRC Grand Finale.

Q. What would be the next steps, after winning the ultimate ticket to the WRC Grand Finale?
The player becomes the WRC Finalist after winning the ticket to the WRC Grand Finale! The RC team will get in touch with the WRC Finalist. The finalist will have to share their valid passport so that, we can start their Visa process. If the finalist doesn't have a valid passport, they can apply for the same.

Q. What if I get eliminated in the first round? Can I buy-in?
No, there are no re-buys in the tournament

Q. How will the prizes be distributed?
The money is transferred to the players account post the event.

Q. Can I transfer my ticket to another user?
Tickets earned in World Rummy Championship 2020 are non-transferable under any circumstances. In case you do not show up for the tournament, the ticket amount won't be refunded or compensated in any form or exchanged for any value.

Q. If I get qualified, but I am not available on the tournament dates, what do I do?
The WRC Finale dates are 27th-30th April 2020 and the WRC Finale ticket can be used only during that period. You will surely enjoy if you make it to WRC Finale - it's taking place in Sochi, Russia!

Q. What would the climate in Sochi be like?
Cimate in Sochi would be pleasant. The temperature can vary from 15° C to 7°C. It is advisable to carry warm clothes.

Q. What clothes should I carry?
For the main event, that's the WRC Grand Finale, carry formal wear along with formal footwear. Also, since the climate would be pleasant, carry warm clothes like - sweaters, jackets, scarf, muffler, etc. Other than that, do carry your regular shirts, T-shirts, denims or any other casual wear.

Q. Do we have to follow any dress code?
Yes. For the main WRC Finale event, that will be held in Sochi Casino, we recommend you wearing - smart casuals or nice formals. Avoid wearing slippers or flip-flops during the main event. Kindly note that jackets won't be allowed inside the gaming area.

The local language of Sochi is Russian.

Q. How will I manage without speaking Russian?

Q. Should I carry Rubles along with me?
It is advisable to carry either Rubles or Dollars which can then be exchanged for Rubles in Russia. To play other games in the Casino, one can either use Rubles or Credit Card.

RummyTu will provide local SIM cards to all the 150 WRC finalists.
Travel and Stay

Q. What is the travel schedule like?
Here's the schedule:
- 26th April: 150 WRC Finalists will first check into The Lalit hotel, Mumbai
- 27th April: The finalists will leave from Mumbai in a private chartered plan @ 7 AM
- 1st May: Players will be back in Mumbai from Sochi at 8:30 PM
- Flights will be arranged for players not living in Mumbai

Q. How will I travel to Sochi?
All the 150 WRC Finalists will together travel to Sochi in a private chartered flight that will take-off from Mumbai International Airport.

Q. How will I travel from my city to Mumbai airport?
We will provide you with a flight ticket from your respective city to Mumbai International Airport.

Q. Where will I be staying in Mumbai? Who will be providing me with accomodation?
The WRC Finalists will be staying in The Lalit, Mumbai for 1 night as the next morning, they need to board an early flight. All the accomodations will be taken care by the RummyTu team. We will arrange for transfers from Mumbai airport to the hotel.

Q. Can I extend my stay in Sochi?
No, extension of the stay will not be possible as we are chartering a plane to Sochi. Hence, as a group we all have to return on the 1st May, 2020 itself. Also, the Visa provided will be specific to these dates.

Q. Will I get a local number in Sochi, Russia?
Yes, a sim card will be provided to each of the Finalists by RummyTu.

Q. Will I get vegeterian food?
Yes, vegetarian food will be served.

Q. Will we be going for sightseeing?
Yes, RummyTu has organized a special sightseeing tour for all the World Rummy Championship 2020 Finalists.

Q. Can I carry dollars with me to Russia?
Yes. You can carry dollars and get it exchanged for Rubles in Russia.

Q. How do I convert my money into Russian Currency?
You can either carry Rubles - visit orientexchange.in or bookmyforex.com to get details on currency exchange. You can also carry dollars & get it exchanged with the local currency operators in Russia or at the airport. RummyTu is not involved in any currency exchange - this has to be managed solely by the players

RummyTu is organizing a Sochi tour specifically for all the WRC players. We will be taking you all to the famous spots of Sochi. It is advisable that you be with the group to enjoy the sight-seeing tour.

Q. I don't have a passport but I want to participate in World Rummy Championship 2020, what should I do?
As the World Rummy Championsip 2020 is taking place in Sochi, Russia, a passport will be required.

Q. I have a passport but the validity is less than 6 months, what should I do?
If the validity of your passport is less than 6 months then you will have to renew your passport to visit Russia. You can apply for the renewal of your passport here

Q. Do I have to go to passport office to apply for a new passport?
Yes. In order to apply for a passport, you will have to visit the passport office at least once.

Q. What are the charges to apply for a new passport?
You will be charged INR 1,500 for the application of a new passport. For World Rummy Championship 2020 Finalists this application fee will be reimbursed.

Q. I have qualified for World Rummy Championship 2020 & have a valid passport. What do I do now?
Once you have qualified and have a valid passport, RummyTu will help you with your visa process or you can make the arrangements yourself as well.
Please NOTE: The travel Visa is mandatory to be able to travel to Russia & participate in the World Rummy Championship 2020 Finale.

Q. I won the WRC Finale Ticket. Do I have to apply for a Visa?
On qualifying for the World Rummy Championship 2020 Finale, our travel experts will contact you & assist you with your Visa and travel tickets.
You can choose to apply for your Visa through our preferred Visa agent or you can apply for it on your own.
In both cases, Visa processing fee will be borne by RummyTu.

Q. Do I have to pay for the Visa?
RummyTu will bear the Visa processing fee.
If you choose to apply for the Visa on your own, then post submission of the proof of a valid Visa, the Visa fee will be reimbursed to the Finalist.

Q. Can I apply for Visa if I don't have a passport?
No. A valid passport is required in order to apply for your Visa.

Q. What should be the validity of the passport for Visa?
Your passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of travel. That means since you're traveling on 27th April for World Rummy Championship 2020, your passport should be valid till November 2020.

Q. My passport has expired. Can I apply for a Visa?
Unfortunately, you need to have a passport that is valid for 6 months from the travel date. To apply for your Visa, please renew your passport here.

Once your Visa is approved, you will be notified.

Q. What will be the Visa process?
Once you have won your WRC Finale Ticket, RummyTu will help in applying for your Visa.

Q. How much time does it take for the entire Visa process?
It takes approximately 25 working days to get your Visa for Russia including the passport pick up and drop time. We urge you to apply for the passport in advance for a smooth and quick Visa process.

Q. What are the documents required for the Visa?
For the Visa process, we will require your valid passport along with your 2 passport size photographs (size: 2 by 2 inches) in white background.

Q. Do I have to visit Russian Consulate for the Visa?
In certain cases, you might have to visit the Russian Consulate. Please coordinate with the Visa partner for any Visa related information. Absolutely! All the Finalists are free to play the Casino games as per their convenience.

Q. How can I play in the Casino?
Just like any other standard casino, you will have to buy chips and participate. You can pay for the same in Rubles or using your credit card.

The Marriott and Casino Sochi are in the same property. Both the buildings are beside each other.

Yes, you can pay the entire Royal Entry amount at one go.

Q. Will I get refund of Royal Entry if I win a ticket via qualifiers?
Purchase the Royal Entry during the Early Bird phase and enjoy a 100% CASHBACK on winning the World Rummy Championship Grand Finale ticket via qualifiers.
To be eligible for this offer, the full amount of r 2 LAKH needs to be paid before winning the ticket through qualifiers.

Q. By when do I need to complete all instalments?
A player needs to complete all Royal Entry instalments by 31st March 2020.

Q. What happens if I am unable to complete all instalments before the due date?
If a player is unable to complete the payment for Royal Entry by 31st March 2020, then the instalments paid till then will be forfeited & the player will not get any refund.

Q. Does purchasing Royal Entry guarantee my visit to Sochi, Russia?
Your visit to Sochi, Russia is solely dependent on acquiring your Visa from the Russian consulate.

Q. What if my Visa is not approved?
In such a scenario, the Royal Entry fee will be refunded to the same payment instrument from which the transaction was made.

Q. Can the money be refunded to my deposit account on RummyTu?
No, the money cannot be refunded to your deposit account on RummyTu.
The money can only be refunded to the payment instrument used to make the transaction.

Q. What happens if the Visa processing is delayed due to me not submitting the required documents on time?
In such a scenario, the player will not be able to travel to Sochi, in spite of having the World Rummy Championship Finale Ticket.
This is because the Visa would not be granted for the required dates. In such cases, where late submission of documents has resulted in Visa not being processed - no refunds will be applicable.
Hence it is advisable to apply for a Passport in advance & be prompt with Visa document submission.
